Role and Responsibilities
Support client and end\\-user education in healthcare software solutions by developing informational and instructional documentation based on industry best practices and compliant with regulatory requirements\\.
Primary tasks will include:
+ Research, develop, and write content for published materials relating to software, hardware, technical procedures, and computer\\-related services\\.
+ Review and revise existing content following established guidelines for technical and training publications\\.
+ Interview programmers, engineers, and other technical personnel to become familiar with product technology and development methods\\.
+ Write, organize, compile, and maintain browser\\-based online help files to support software end users\\.
+ Create and manage documents that comprise a clinical and regulatory information database for a healthcare software platform\\.
+ Assist in analyzing and refining software projects to address documentation issues and to coordinate changes across a large set of interrelated documents\\.
Required Job Skills and Experience
+ High proficiency using Adobe FrameMaker software
+ Standard expertise with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Pro
+ Strong analytical ability and proficiency in translating complex concepts and procedures into easy\\-to\\-understand technical and instructional materials in both print and interactive or online formats
+ Well\\-developed language and communication skills, with in\\-depth knowledge of grammar and writing rules
+ Familiarity and comfort working within alarge corporate computer network
+ Proven success inhandling competing priorities in a complex and agile software development environment
+ Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team, to successfully complete detailed work assignments and to organize and implement multiple tasks at once
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A Bachelor s degree in a relevant area of study is expected\\. Two to five years job experience and strong evidence of successful product output can be substituted for a specific degree or formal training\\.
Preferred Skills
+ Strong analytical ability and proficiency in translating complex concepts and procedures into easy\\-to\\-understand technical and instructional materials in both print and interactive or online formats\\.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team to successfully complete both repetitive and detailed work assignments and to organize and implement multiple projects at once\\.
+ Proficiency in current processes and tools used in technical writing and for publishing in print and online\\.
+ Well\\-developed language and communication skills and substantial knowledge of grammar and writing standards\\.
+ Skilled, literate, and adaptable to personal computers and software in a networked environment\\.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with internal and external clients\\.
