Job Description Description: Leidos’ Corporate Information Technology Services Group is looking for an IT Asset Administrator to perform duties within IT procurement and asset management department. Selected candidate will support the asset management life cycle, including tracking and accounting for all IT hardware and software assets from procurement to disposal. Selected candidate will also interface with multiple levels of users, management and technical staff. Primary Responsibilities: Makes recommendations on software and hardware purchases to end users. Monitors the status of open orders, documenting progress in the tracking system. Identifies and reports any issues that may cause order delay to the requestor. Tracks and maintains inventory data, including serial numbers and assignment information. Ensures the proper tracking of IT asset inventory by conducting audits and virtual inventories. Tracks and maintains software asset records for commonly used software applications for software harvesting. Please note that this is not a desktop support role. Qualifications: Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with some IT experience or High School Diploma with 4 years of experience in IT Procurement or IT Asset Management related area. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills. Must be able to manage multiple requests and work with changing priorities in a high volume, customer-oriented environment. Proficiency in word processing (Word) and spreadsheets (Excel). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with SciQuest and Costpoint procurement systems preferred. Understanding of desktop hardware to make recommendations to requestors.
