Job Description
Universal Avionics Systems Corporation, an industry leader in avionics systems technology is looking for a Customer Service Representative I for our marketing division located in Tucson, AZ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

:Talks with customers by phone regarding units requiring service and receives orders by phone, email or fax for upgrades, repairs, or exchanges.

:Fills out service requests, determines charges for service requested on non:warranty items, and determines appropriate shipping method.

:Provide support to OEMs, installation centers, marketing and sales reps, avionics technicians, maintenance mechanics, pilots, owners, and purchasing agents.

:Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.

:Maintain order in the stockroom by accurately identifying, ordering, receiving, and storing parts and equipment.

:Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word software; Internet software and Progress order processing systems.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
High school diploma required; Associates Degree preferred, plus one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
