**Position Summary**
**About the Coaching and Pathway Program Support Services (** **CAPPSS** **) Program:**
The purpose of the CAPPSS program is to provide academic support to students with disabilities that affect cognitive processing and who are not able to successfully participate in classes with ADA/504 accommodations alone. In addition, the student must have identified specific community participation goals that could be advanced through meaningful participation in Pima Community College class offerings. Services provided through this program are those not required by ADA/504. Services required by ADA/504 are obtained separately through an additional Access and Disability Resource (ADR) process.
The goal of the CAPPSS Academic Coach is to help students be successful in classes at Pima Community College that will lead to the student achieving their identified community participation outcomes. Given a support plan and guidance from the CAPPSS program coordinator, the academic coach will provide individualized scaffolded academic support to students taking classes at Pima Community College and participating in the CAPPSS program.
**Job announcement will remain open until filled. The first review of applications will be February 5, 2017.**
