Job Summary
Provide Sales, Account Management and Project Management for integrated building technology system projects for key customers. Integrated Building systems can include; Building Automation Systems, HVAC Control Systems, Utility and Energy Management Systems, Lighting Control Systems, and any other associated Smart Building Systems.

Responsibilities and Duties
Sources, develops and qualifies sales leads.
Responsible for research necessary to perform selling (prospecting/qualifying) activities.
Proactively prospects within business sectors that directly align with the company.
Provides account management for existing clientele.
Meets or exceeds targeted sales goals.
Actively introduces products/services/extensions to new and existing customers.
Builds and develops a loyal customer base.
Communicates across departments to ensure smooth business operations and customer installations.
Insures that client expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to insure complete customer satisfaction; follows-up on all installs to assess success.
Identifies new market opportunities through research and evaluation of trends
Inputs, maintains and retrieves information from databases; insures accuracy of records.
Coordinates Projects with field supervision on matters involving scheduling, job scoring, manpower, etc.
Creates project plans and conducts re-planning sessions.
Reviews contract and scope of work
Reviews and approves job set-up
Communicates and works with third parties and subcontractors to ensure plan stays on target and meets budget
Completes billing setup and monthly progress billing.
Submits and tracks RFIs and change order generation
Assists in resolving site/project conflicts
Submits and tracks submittal process
Establishes and monitors project scoring
Coordinates project closeout requirements, including training
Coaches, counsels and motivates assigned staff
Maintains currency with industry trends and innovations through training, association memberships, etc

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related construction field, or equivalent experience and knowledge
1-3 years’ experience with project management and estimating
1-3 years’ experience with customer service and/or sales
Working knowledge of electrical systems, building management systems, HVAC, lighting, etc.
Knowledge of integrated building systems a plus.
knowledge of building/zoning regulations and codes
Detail oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills
Good client relationship building skills
Excellent judgment and decision making
Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Windows XP/7
Prior supervisory experience where employment decisions were made is helpful.
Knowledge of digital control systems as applied to building operating, safety, security and engineering-level understanding of building systems
Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems helpful
Highly motivated, successful, dynamic and energetic with excellent follow-through ability
Excellent interpersonal/communications skills
