Job Description: The Supply Chain Optimization Specialist (SCOS) will be a member of the Supply Chain team that provides data analysis, financial analysis, process flow analyst and systems engineering to facilitate efficient work flow processes and cost savings initiatives. The SCOS will work with various level of management to identify and develop solutions to challenges that affect various Supply Chain functions by bridging the gap between Operations, Property, Logistics, Transportation, Compliance, Quality and Material Program Management. This SCOS will provide hands-on analysis, critical thinking, problem solving and the development of recommendations to an evolving organization requiring next generation solutions with both domestic and international applications. Given the complexity of the problems and the existing data integrity challenges surrounding unsolved or new projects, the SCOS position requires advanced data mining skills, statistical relevance testing, and development of mathematical optimization, simulation solutions, and scenario modeling. The SCOS will also develop strategies to identify new opportunities, expand existing analytical methods, provide insights, and build practical solutions to complex business problems Responsibilities: Data analytics to support Supply Chain Proposal strategies, processes, negotiations and execution Supply Chain Indirect Budget Management: Variances, headcount, crossover, LOA and EACs Indirect Transportation Model, Optimization, Cost Saving, Tool/Algorithm development Direct Transportation Cost Savings Analysis and charging compliance. IOT forecast process flow, optimization and accountability from finance to the manufacturing floor Supplier Engineering charging and assimilation analysis and execution Cost Center Alignment by Supply Chain function Proposal and PO data integrity Ad-Hock analysis Required Skills : 4 year's relevant experience delivering stochastic/analytical solutions to complex business problems. Proficient with APEX, PRISM, and related financial systems, SAP, BPS, and PMX tools B.S (required ) in Finance, Management Science, Mathematics, or another related quantitative discipline. Theoretical and practical experience in Supply Chain optimization and algorithm development related to operations management is a requirement. Experience with software development and architecture related to Supply Chain Management Expertise in programming and database languages (ex. Python, R, Scala, SQL). Demonstrated problem solving experience analyzing complex data using statistical and advanced analytical methods to deliver predictive and prescriptive insights. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills. Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence people at varying levels of responsibility. Candidates must demonstrate business aptitude and the ability to rapidly learn new problem domains. Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, changing environment with various functional disciplines, e.g., Operations, Property, Logistics, Transportation, Compliance, Quality and Material Program Management Independent and self-motivated Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements Good organizational skills in leading/coordinating personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working to deadlines and commitments Proficient use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project Desired Skills: Proficient use of analytical tools .e.g SAP, BPS, Excel, R, Python, SAS Working knowledge of Raytheon Systems and Process Flows Manufacturing and SCM process knowledge Willingness to take on new tasks and additional challenges- Required Education : B.S. - in Finance, Management Science, Mathematics, or another related quantitative discipline. 109662
