Come join us!POSITION SUMMARYThe Workers Comp Telephonic Case Manager works with the employees, providers, employers, claims examiners and vendors to coordinate medical care and facilitate the timely return to work with an injured worker. You will telephonically manage cases for injured workers, making sure they attend appointments, following up on resources needed and documenting. You will make a direct impact on the members!CO License is highly preferred and needed. Workers Comp Experience in CO is highly preferred.Fundamental Components:Daily calls with the members, providers, claim examiners and any other resource needed. Documenting and keeping records for billing purposes and compliance. Working with MS Office and multiple systems daily. Organizing your workload and day, depending on needsTalking with the members and providers while you are documenting at the same timeBACKGROUND/EXPERIENCERegistered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing with a compact license or CO license.CO License and knowledge of CO workers comp is highly desired!Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience highly desired.Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) would be preferred. Previous workers comp, case management, UR experience is preferred. Strong analytical skillsStrong computer skills including MS Office, Windows knowledge, strong keyboarding skills and ability to work in multiple systems at one time.EDUCATIONThe highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONSNursing/Registered Nurse (RN)CCM, COHN, CDMS and CCRN highly preferred!FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCESFunctional - Nursing/Case Management/1-3 YearsTelework Specifications:Full Time work at home position, any compact state, CA licensure needed.
