Kforce has a client in Tucson, Arizona (AZ) seeking a Test Equipment Engineer. We are looking for candidates in the state of Arizona willing to relocate to the Tucson, Arizona (AZ) area. Once again, the position is in Tucson, Arizona (AZ).Responsibilities:
* Lead in the development and maintenance of production test requirements, limits, and procedures
* Communicate troubleshooting analysis of NPD product failures to proper channels
* Support various engineering departments with test equipment and test document development
* Coordinating with Engineering the testing of new and existing products by the Quality Department
* Testing and troubleshooting of digital and analog circuits
* Work with various groups in the transition of NPD products to contract manufactures
* Maintain test equipment, test instructions, and test sheets for existing products and products transitioned to production
* Time management and multitasking to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly
* Read mechanical and electrical drawings, interpret layouts, and other types of engineering drawings
* Operate efficiently in a teamwork environment
* Learn the current production products and new products and how to troubleshoot them
* Component identification and function of components
* AS or BS degree in an Engineering field or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years of experience in this capacity or similar
* Experience reading and interpreting layouts, blue prints, schematics, and engineering drawings
* Must have experience in testing of electronic products including digital and/or analog circuits
* Experienced with the use of standard lab equipment; scopes, meters, and spectrum analyzers, etc.
* Working knowledge of LabVIEW or other programming languages is desired
* Knowledge of Gage R&R's and test equipment prove-in practices
* Proficient in test and measurement techniques
* Knowledge of Ohm's Law, the Power Law, and Kirchoff's Law is a plus
* Familiarity with PLC's, microprocessors, linear and digital circuits a plus
